for quicktime i tried to install the latest download, but i got an error while installing

"An error has occurred while attempting to create the directory :C\Program files\Quicktime"

Possibly because that directory already exists.

Have you tried uninstalling it first, then downloading the new version.

I just tried it, and still doesn't work, so what im guessing my access levels is all messed up, i can't install programs, nor start services.. anyways to fix this?

okay i know for a fact this is my problem
my registry for policies is all messed up, is there anyway i can get a list of default ones
