When I switch on my computer I never know what size the size of the icons or text will be, it seem to change nearly every time I boot up. Sometimes it is really, really big, other times it is very small and today it is medium sized. Can anyone tell why it changes like this and is there anything I can do to stabilise it to a reasonable size.

I've heard of a batch file doing this, changing the icon size on shutdown. Ask Evil fantasy to help remove any infections.
