Hello all,

I posted another thread saying my computer wouldn't boot into windows, I have now got it too do that and I have reinstalled windows, everything seems to be running smoothly, but I've got a quick question.

When I turn on my computer, I get no splash screen, it just goes to a black screen, hangs there for about 15-20 secs and then it starts loading into windows, after that everything is fine. Is this something I should be worried about?

Thanks

Regards Jason

I dont think so.
Is the hard drive being accessed during this "black" phase.
The PC is probably just taking its time to load windows.Defrag the hard drive.

I tried defragging the hard drive, doesn't sound like anything is being accessed, Just hangs then loads into Windows. I can get into bios fine if i press delete. But everything seems to be running smoothly because I'm on it now. Personally myself I don't think it is anything to worry about.
