So I just upgraded to Windows 7 and my machine crashes (blue screen) as soon as Windows loads. After a lot of playing around I found SUPERAntiSpyware was causing the problem.

The only info i found was to upgrade to the latest version yet as you will find when you try to uninstall the old version Windows crashes too and you have to remove the old version prior to installing the new. What you need to do is boot into safe mode and disable SAS in Windows startup. Do this by running msconfig. This will allow you to get into full fat Windows. Now download and run the SAS removal tool. http://www.superantispyware.com/downloads/SASUNINST.EXE Finally download and install the latest SUPERAntiSpyware version via the SAS website. Yeah .... I had the same problem when running the RC version, some while ago, so I made sure I had the new version, when I installed on my retail version.

Was a PITA to figure out, disabling startup entries one by one then rebooting each time lol.

No ... as I remember it just crashed the machine and did a reboot ... luckily it didn't get as far as installing

Haven't heard of this yet but thanks for the heads up. I'm sure there will be plenty of complaints in the near future.
