Taskbar Icons Not Highlighted.

    Hi, every time I start my Windows 7 and start a program, the taskbar icon does not highlight. This make me use of alt+tab key to see what programs I’ve open.

    Do you mean it doesn't SHOW your taskbar?

    One possibility is that it's set to auto-hide. Try hovering your mouse over the lower edge of the screen. The other possibility is that the desktop is gone. Re-starting in safe mode may bring it back again.

    Move your curser down to the very bottom of the screen; does the task bar appear? If not, do a system restore to a date immediately before this problem started and that will probably take care of it.
