[Werwolf]

I have a Toshiba satellite with an issue. When the windows screen finally pops up, the laptop just seems to hang. It won't go any further than that. Sometimes icons pop up and and sometimes they don't but when there are icons and I try to double-click something, the system just hangs. Can't get anywhere. I've tried system restore and tried using the recovery console but nothing. What can I do now? I'm running vista.
