Hey all,

I recently fancied installing my old Lemmings game (original) on my Vista 32-bit Home Premium.

I downloaded DOSBox, but didnt have much success, basically I just didnt know how to use it.

So I abandoned that after being told you could run it from Command Prompt, but still I couldn't get it to work.

If i run any of the .exe's manually I either get "Not a valid Win32 app" or "Cannot run in full screen Close or Ignore" If I then click ignore it comes again, do this 3 times and I get to the old select your screens adapter, I press enter for VGA, then I just get the same again, I click Ignore a few more times, and the whole things closes down.

Any help apreciated,
TIA, Ollie.

you could run a virtual OS that plays thoes type of games, download virtual pc from microsoft and torrent a lite versions of windows 95 and install it to the virtual machine, its simpler than it sounds. if you get stuck find a tutorial or if you must, ask me on this thread.

Isnt that the same as DOSBox?

my problem seems to be more that the game itself (and everything else, QBasic does it too) doesnt want to run fullscreen, and if it can't run fullscreen it doesnt seem to want to run at all.
