Virtual Memory

When im using certian programs i get a mesage saying 'virtual memory is to low' how can I boost my virtual memory?

But doesn't increasing it that much affect your system working , I sure remember something that I read quite a while ago .About keeping it to around 1.5 of the ram ?

I will suggest 715 min as well as max . But u can increase if u really need .Cause it will take up quite a space of ur harddisk . Whats ur free space in c drive ? anyways .

You should have about 1.5 times more virtual memory than you have ram

That is only a rule if you have less than 1.5gb of ram

You should keep it at 1.5 x 512Mb. Use a calculater at that. Increasing virtual memory may help but I guess, the problem is something else. With NTFS systems with compressed file systems, I have observed this problem, that even if you increase your Vmemory, it will still show this miserable error. The issue is not that you have low Vmemory, but that you Vmemory is not accessible to the application. Check this logic out.
