Ok I know I have posted a lot of threads within these past few days. But you guys have beyond excellent knowledge towards EVERYTHING! Its been a wonderful learning experience.

This will probably answer all my software issues...I hope!

Alright, I have heard that Vista 64-bit can run software that is compatible with 32-bit software. Am I confused with bullcrap opinions, or is this true? FOR EXAMPLE...I download a certain firewall or spyware removal tool (apply this to anything else you can think of as well, not just the two I listed) and it says that it is for 32-bit, or even XP is the latest one it has. Will I still be able to run it on Vista 64-bit? Is Vista 64-bit backward compatible on almost everything?

IMO the 64bit versions of Windows .... XP and Vista, should never have been rolled out .... they are trouble, with a Capital "T".

Unless you have a specific reason/need for a 64bit OS, I would avoid it altogether.
Hardware drivers are a nightmare and they are just not ready for Human Consumption

I see lots of folk buying XP64 or Vista64, believing it is somehow more trendy or up-to-date than the 32bit versions. Believe me they are not for the feinthearted and unless you are prepared to spend a lot of your time trying to get things to work ..... Keep Clear.

Well for one reason according to Windows benchmark its much faster and games that can run it play and appear better. So yeah, I am a gamer and hoping this will be a great purchase. Now as far as XP64, I have experience with that and I can tell you its crap and I have read about 1000+ reviews that can back that up. Im not getting so much bad feeback with Vista64. After Microsoft gets their updates lined out I think we will all be happy that Vista arrived. Thanks for your feedback.
