Default Vista back to xp

hi all, i know this subject has been done to death, i have searched the forums and have many mixed answers, let me explain my dilema.
I am a mechanic and have alot of data that will only work on xp, i have had to buy a new laptop and had to use a local electronics shop as i had £450 in vouchures, anyway all they stock is vista models,so i got a fujitsu amilo LI171 running vista, now have opend it up and their is a driver cd saying drivers and utilities saying support for windows vista, microsoft xp professional, so does this mean i can re-format the harddrive and insatall xp home addition, and then use the driver cd to reintall drivers for xp as this would save all my info then and save me having to have two laptops on my desk, anyhelp would be appreciated,as i dont know for sure what i am doing but give me a car and well thats another story , thanks for taking the time to read this

Yes you can put XP on it, any drivers you need should be on the manufacturers website, probably best to check first though.

More than likely mate.

Even if it doesn't you can probably just go online and get them.

Online drivers will also be more up to date than on a CD.
