I'm considering going back to XP on my laptop I've had it 18months but Vista Ultimate is a bit of a pain.

If I re-install XP what would I need to do regarding drivers and network/audio settings?

It has to be a fresh install so all drivers, software etc. will need to be done from scratch.

Bluetooth settings?

The install will wipe the hard drive, everything will go. Everything.

Before you attempt it, check with the manufacturer's website, that XP Drivers are available for everything, otherwise you will have a nice doorstop.

What exactly is your biggest pain with Vista? Perhaps if there is a quick way to relieve that you may change your mind.........

SHHHHHHH Haun, I've been using operating systems since before apple and MS came out so I know we don't want to scare folks off. Hell, I got thrown off one board for offering to send one idiot a copy of Windows3.1 because they hated the "new stuff". LOL I really do have 3.1 to send if anyone wants it.......

(I'm good here right? I didn't call anyone a stupid rat batard or anything did I?)

Since you're going BACK to XP, I pressume you once had the drivers on CD. If not, goto the manufacturer's support site and make sure you downoad all the drivers for your xp first before formatting your drive.
