| Today when I got back from work I started up my PC and got a boot menu with a list of options to select which device I wanted to use to boot up my PC. Up until today Vista started up without any need to be prompted like this. I selected the hard drive option and then the only hard drive I have on my PC and everything was OK from that point. Any ideas of how to simply get my PC to use my hard drive automatically again to boot up rather then having to tell it myself everytime I boot up my PC? I ran Startup Repair to check if there were any issues but it says everything on the C:\ is fine. Thanks for any help. Last edited by NorthernLights : 6th Dec 2007 at 02:06 AM. |

| go into the bios (del at startup) and find the boot options menu then remove all the boot devices you dont boot from (i.e all but hard drive). however if you cant remove them move hard drive to the top of the list.
