Hi,
The problem started in the last couple of months, at first Vista was crashing occasionally when the system was left idle for a time, recently windows explorer kept crashing and every so often it freezes completely and the mouse doesn't respond it's just dead. I have fresh installed twice and it is still crashing. The last occasion it crash I had not installed any drivers or software just added updates for graphics display and sound ect.... I have done a disk check all disks which appear to have come out ok check for viruses. I did update the bios a few months back, I'm not tottally sure if that was the problem or not but it's a possibility. The problem with the bios is if I go to the website for the Nforce board it gives me about four different Bios files. Will check that tho. Also since the first time I had to reinstall the right click doesn't work properly, I have to click the right mouse button 3,4,5 or 6 times before the menu pops up. No matter how many reinstalls I do that has never been resolved. PROCESSOR: Intel Core 2 Duo Desktop Processor E8400 MEM: Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 2x 1GB MOBO: XFX NFORCE LT 680I SLI GPU: MSI N9600GT-T2D1G-OC Thanks in advance for your help. |

Try taking out 1 stick of RAM and loading it up.
