| hi all just installed vista took a while got it done on first boot up vista did recognise my ethernet cards attempted to install but tomy amazment i could not get this to work without accessing my xp partition to download the drivers i found this incdibly frustrating and am in complete disbelif that xp sp2 in fresh install,no updates, was plug and play i had a disk but no need to use it so i find it incredibly hard to believe that vista on fresh install on ultimate does not have this capability its all working fine now but just want to know if i have jusrt missed something, especially when we live in such a connected world NIC is 4months old cheers |
