How do i wipe vista out of my hard drive if i cant access the partition it is on due to password??

Boot off the Install CD and redo the partition/format.

There is software that can crack the password. http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

Get the live CD download, burn the CD, then boot off of it.

I know Dave but thats a 532mb download and it would be much easier and quicker for me to do a re-install.

I have re-installed on the other partition but i cant delete the original installation which i cant access due to password as vista wont let me format this original partition.........Does anybody know how to wipe this thing ????

Right click my computer on your desktop > manage > disk manager.

Then in there select > then delete/resize any partitions.

Had to delete folders one by one manually but folders "program files " and "windows" it wont let me delete or format the partition, as regards deleting it keeps saying i need permission

It should let you delete the partition, what options do you get when you right click the partition in disk manager.
