 Vista Ultimate Installation Problems I am having trouble installing Windows Vista Ultimate. It goes through copying windows files, expanding files, installing features and updates. It then restarts and final step is completing installation which it does not complete. I have left it at this stage for 4+ hours. I have done some research and found many people having similar problems. Anybody here have any advice? CPU: Intel Q6600 MOBO: ASUS P5NE-SLI RAM: 2GB Video Card: nVidia EVGA 8800GT Hard drive: Western Digital 500GB SATA Last edited by ghulva : 23-01-2008 at 04:58 AM.       |

| Vista Ultimate Installation Problems Try removing one stick of RAM and see if things improve, if not swap them around, still using just one stick.

| Vista Ultimate Installation Problems Hmm, I had a problem like this when I last time, reinstall my computer. I think this was because I had bought a Home premium Installsion DvD but install the Ultimate edition, which I'm not sure you can. So I just reinstall it, as an Home premium and it was able to complete it all |
