| hey guys, iuve had this problem a while but instead of fixing it i just stopped the windows updates basically at the moment ive got 68 updates that are needed for vista 32 bit some security and some alot are those KB updates when ever i install these updates the computer wont boot, start up screen comes on and as soon as the windows loading bar is about to apprear i get a quick flash on the dreaded blue screen and then it starts again, constant cycle. is there an update known to do this? what am i doing wrong? i want to install internet explorer 8, but cant without these updates (firefox has gone way downhill) cheers in advance guys

| on a side note a system restore works, but then im left with the dreaded 68 updates
