Hello, my problem is rather uncommon (not found much info), when im logging onto my profile, some DOS windows appears and it says about "C:\WINDOWS\system32\msupdte.exe NTVDM encountered system error, NTVDM encountered NTVDM system error c0h", plus close and ignore buttons (this is how would i translate it). Default Weird 16bit Subsystem Error

Whatever i'd choose, DOS window just disappears. I cant run few programs, like MSN Live messenger, that wouldnt be so bad, but heres the main problem- after some time (usually not more than 15 minutes) computer turns dead; no action can be taken, mouse cursor wont move, key combinations like Alt+F4 wont work aswell. Im sort of confused, i removed all spies/malwares with Spybot but problem is still here. Any advice would be appreciated.
Im using win XP with Service pack 3.
Greetings.

Sounds like you are still infected.

Go to the Virus Spyware & Security Forum, red the 1st sticky and post your logs

Don't think it's virus related.

I had this when I tried exactly the same thing, trying to emulate an environment for Lemmings

I never found a solution but I hadn't had any troubles with viruses.

Yep just post them here with a covering note of the problem and Evil Fantasy will cast his magic eye over them for you

If Evil says they are clean, then at least you can eliminate Malware from the equation.
