Hi there. I have Windows Vista Business 32-bit Os running on my current system. It is stored in one single partition equal size of hard drive 1TB.

I'm planning to install the 64bit version of Vista over 32bit and i know i need to do a clean install so my question is how do i go about it?

How do i erase the current version of Vista?

Do i need to partition my drives? Or Just insert that 64bit disk at bootup?

Cheers

Boot off the 64 CD and redo the partitions, then install.

By redo the partitions do you mean partition it into 2 or 3 partitions? And is there a need for formatting the disk?

You can probably format and partition the drive in the Vista setup manager is what Dave's saying, I think. That or you can just boot and nuke it and then use the CD, but the other's quicker.
