hey

I plan to get 4GB of ram so i will be needing the 64bit windows vista version. Does anyone know where i can get it cheapest? OEM is okay for me!

Vista comes in many versions, home, premium, ultimate.

www.ebuyer.com are one etailer selling it about as cheap as it gets.

thanks for reply mate, yea ill probably get it there, is there a great difference between home and premium? is it worth the extra money?
this processor says it has intel 64 technology, so it is 64bit processor?

oh home basic says x64 bit processor only... and premium x32 bit? thats the difference?

No, all versions come in either 32 or 64 bit.

That processor is 64 bit yes.

i had my pc built with vista premium 64 bit,my daughter bought her vista home basic from a store that is 32 bit ..........
