Really, 100 videos, that's like the whole world.

I run Vista 64 bit, have no driver, game or software issues.

It is also very fast, slick and looks way better than XP.

At the end of the day if all these idiots are going to put it on a 5 year old PC they are going to get problems.

It's 2008 software for 2008 PCs, duh!

That is the real point isn't it ..... you cant judge it unless you have it installed on an up-to date system. Also, unless you dual boot the same system, you cannot decide if Vista is slower or faster ..... you have to compare like for like.

Personally I believe that once you have tweaked Vista and turned off all the bloat and found your way around the new settings, it isn't a bad system. It's secure and stable enough ....... has never crashed on me anyway, but my current PC is 11 months old, dual core, 2gb Ram etc., so I'm sure that makes a big difference.

For the love of me though, I still find it hard to justify the upgrade costs and I have to ask myself, what do I get for my money, other than the prettiness of it.
When I dual boot to XP, which I still find necessary for a few of my programs, that wont run in Vista, XP still feels snappier to me. I'm using an Athlon 5200+ 2.60ghz CPU and 2 gb RAM, so Vista should be flying, but XP definitely feels faster !!
