Need help with this error,,on bootup,,,thanking you in advance.

it is corrupt do you have the xp pro cd? if so instert it on boot and select to repair it

Thanks for the info,,,but my CD is old and only have SP1 on it and I'm running SP2 from window donwload so it will not repair until I remove SP2

remove sp2 repair then reinstall sp2

Could some one please help me. I have a blue screen and can't get the Laptop to boot up from the CD.
