I have 2 user accounts on my computer and both of the accounts are Admin account. What I what to do Is have 1 account to run all of my programs and the other one I what to run certain programs like Premiere elements just to do video editting. I want a program so I can switch programs on and off for 1 user account? I know how to shut everything for all users.

that's what I want 1 account. I also want one account to use everyday with all my programs. I don't want to close programs and kill processes when I want to do my video editing.

Can you turn things (Processes and startup programs) off for one user under the Admin tools? I have Windows XP Pro.

you can turn off startup programs for all users by going to start run and typing msconfig and go to the last tab
