It should be available tonight (about 8PM for us in the UK).
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ Should be released this afternoon Pacific Time. (Its about 11AM PST now). The download page is already out, but the servers are completely shot (maybe deliberately until the download time..): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/e.../dd353205.aspx Its been available to Technet Plus subscribers and MSDN etc since yesterday and on Pirate sources for a week or so. Hopefully this will not be a repeat of Vista :)

answer to the post before the above one. They are called hot fixes i think. anyway there are a few reviews out on this and it looks pretty good. Hopefully they dont make the prices as inflated as vista's were. 400 dollars for ultimate?!?!

i tried one of the youngest beta's and i want impressed so i went to put xp on it and it wouldn't.. had to format the drive 5 times !! don't no what was going on there but reports are out on the net al over about this so its not a fluke
 only time i will try (Vista 7) lol again is when AL the new tashbar skins are in and working as i want the island one - taskbar is invisible apart from start icon
