 Windows 7 only touch?!?!

I've read comments from people saying its the end of mice etc.
Is this true?!
they're really dropping the use of a mouse and only goin touchscreen..?
Surely not, everyone would have to buy new monitors.. TV screens wouldn't support it.
And what about gaming?! Without a mouse..
I hope ...

It's a rumor. There most probably will be a version of it (for tablets) that is touch only (no cursor/ mouse drivers) but there will be mice for a long time yet.

Would it be possible do you know to attach a tablet type thing, and use that to control it as well as the mouse?

Yeah, I spose I was thinking more like, an actual screen, so on the touch pad you'd see what you were doing..

oh, I think you can get transparent touch pads, that you can place over the monitor. I dunno how big they come, but, I know you can get them to turn the eee PC's into a tablet, so I would have thought you could get them for larger screens too.
