For those that need something RIGHT NOW, Newegg is selling all versions of Vista with a coupon for a free Win7 Upgrade. Check it out.

I'm reading that the US versions at $49.99 & $99.99 are Upgrade versions and require Vista as a qualifying product whereas the UK versions at £49.99 & £99.99 are Full versions and can be installed on a clean Hard Drive.
So check the smallprint guys, b4 parting with your $$$$$

I did. I also looked at the "upgrade" pre order for Win7 Ultimate. I costs more than I paid for an OEM version of Vista Ultimate............... I'm feeling hosed.

I presume you can't upgrade to it from the RC or Beta?

Would be good though, but I suppose seeing as the RC went much more public, it would be an easy way to do it if you knew they were doing it this way before the download ended.

Anyone got a link for comparing versions?
