How have you got a copy? Are you registered with Technet? But I didn't even know it was available for those users yet

got a copy of a friend that he got of a friend (passed it around)
a think its even leaked out on the internet too. i think its safe to download as you cant purchase a serial for it yet. as its in the building stage. saying that i wouldn't bother its soo basic and as i mentioned most extras on windows 7 dont work yet(not usable) well not on my copy they dont
its mainly a taster to see what to expect

I think I'll wait anyway, one of my teachers at college is a member of technet so I might be able to give it ago when it comes out there, dunno if that is allowed or even if I would do. But it'll be a while anyway.

My mate has signed up for the public beta when it comes out on technet. I can't wait to see it! Looks interesting. I don't think I will bother buying Vista - just going to wait until Windows 7 as XP is doing me fine at the minute!

4 gigs of ram. a little over the top dont you think. It was bad enough for vista you had to have 2 for it to run smoothly, so I'm assuming you would want a little more than the 4 they are recommeding>

It is the consumer pushing for better performance not Microsoft. They are not to blame.

Yea, and with i7 CPUs coming out which support triple channel DDR3 RAM, 6GB is going to be the minimum for i7 users I would assume, with the X58 chipset supporting upto 24GB RAM
