Default Windows Insatllation help!!!!!

Hey, i just received parts for a computer that im building. So after hours of installing the parts it was time for me install windows xp. I installed a brand new Maxtor 200 gb IDE hard drive. Also the XP cd i have is also brand new. so when i went to go install windows it brought me to "press any key to boo from cd" screen so i did that. Then it went to the normal blue screen where windows loads the neccesary files to install XP. it loads these files for about 10 min. then after it is finished right before goingto start setup it goes to the Blue screen of death and it stays there. I never get a chance to install or make a new partition. So after this i thought maybe it was the hard drive. So i put a new hard drive that was 20gb IDE and the same thing happened. I dont know what to do from here if any body can help please reply.

What message is displayed on the blue screen as there are a few different ones.

Do you have another board to try?

Try the install again, only this time just use one of your sticks on memory. Let us no how you get on. Just to try and start ruleing things out..
