I am trying to promote a Windows 2003 Server Standard box to be a backup DC for a Server 2008 AD.
When running DCPROMO on the 2003 box I receive an error reporting that it is not compatible with the current OS/AD levels of the primary DC. I've tried performing ADPREP on the 2008 machine with results reporting that ADPREP has already been run/performed. So the question is how do I make a Server 2003 machine part of a Windows 2008 Server AD? I really appreciate your time and advice. |
