Hello im new here and i need some help, the issue is about a week ago, my pc started to shut itself down, but its not a sudden shut down. Its more like as if i made it shut down as it closes every program open and then logs off and after shuts down. Before this happens sometimes also they keyboard goes crazy as if a bunch of random keys were being pressed. I've been told this is a corrupted windows and i got my windows cd and tried the windows repair option and it just happened again so i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this that can help me find out what is problem...thanks

What you could try is keeping a command prompt open. Just go start -> run -> cmd -> enter
Then type "shutdown -a" (no quotes)
Then next time you notice that it starts shutting down quickly switch to the cmd and hit enter. It should abort the shutdown.

This is just to see if it tries shutting the PC down again.

Im not sure if i will have time to do this, as it starts closing programs and usually keyboard starts acting crazy pressing buttons by itself right before it starts shutting down

I really don't know. The only other thing I could recommend is trying to use an online virus scanner, seeing if that finds anything.
Something has to be triggering the shutdown and overheating usually causes "freezing"

So, did the computer try shutting down again after you aborted it?

The only other thing I can think of right now is running hijackthis and posting a log. Possibly a strange process is running?
