Hi :) Personally i would not recommend Norton to be used on any PC ! its a total system hog and basically a chopped down industrial protection application that struggles to protect anything ! (just my opinion symantec your programs are rubbish !!! )

I have started using vista home premium as it was already onmy new Laptop. It is pretty cool. Not so much new as differently presented and not to buggy IMHO. My wife has a dell with vista home basic and that is C**P IMHO

95 was fine but no bells and whistles, although more than 3.1 98, especially SE was a very stable OS.

I would like to parafrase Star Wars.... "Come over to the Linux Side" Seriously though, I'm not impressed with Vista, XP with all its securitypacks was better and less problems. In fact due to this the company I work for (Global IT firm) will NOT be upgrading to Vista. Instead we will wait untill vista's first servicepack will come out, and the first rollout planned for vista will be either first or second quarter 2008 but ONLY if the tests come out right. Even our customers are waiting, some of them have switched to Novel & Suse :-) So in a way I love Vista, it drives people to trying Linux ;-)
