I should have said that Offine NT Password & Registry Editor Review and Free Download is worth trying, because it deletes the password, allowing you to log on without one

Thanks for all your help but with a Viao what I found you can do is do a system recovery, it allows you to recover your files, then do a system restore to a date further back and it dosen't affect your files which surprised me very easy to do. Work ready the sony manual after all lol....
