Hello all,

To summarise my situation, I've basically turned on my computer and it's BSODed me - much to my dismay - and come up with a couple of errors. Now, having trawled the internet and searched high and low, I went home yesterday and tried to do a system repair. I followed the steps, pressed R, got to the black dos-like screen, and where there should be an option of "1: C:/ Windows", "2: D:/ Windows", etc, it instead doesn't have them, and merely has the standard "C:>" prompt. Thus, I can't seem to even log into my option, if you catch my drift.

I then try and copy the NTDLR (sp) files from the disk drive, and that errors.

So, basically, my question's are thus:

1. Am I screwed?
2. Is there any way of saving any of my documents? (My backup is quite dated, and I've some new stuff I'd like)
3. Is there anything else I can do?

Grateful for any responses, thanks.

You skip the first repair option and select the second.
