Hi... first post...
I had a problem with a virus so after backing up my files installed XP again, deleted a partition and full install. At the end there are the fields to fill in like naming users, automatic updates, registering etc. Done those. Then it comes to use the thing and after 10 seconds the whol thing freezes. Not even the cursor will move. What am I doing wrong? |

You've done nothing wrong, unless it's graphics drivers that are needed, but I've never known it that severe, and anyway 10secs wouldn't give you long enough.
If I were you I'd try booting from the CD again and doing a repair. If that doesn't work still just reinstall it again, it's bad luck but sometimes OS's just install bad.
