Windows XP vs Windows Vista

I have XP, my brother has Vista and I think it's pretty cool. The reason I don't have it is because I don't have the money yet.

Even though I have a lot more software crashes with Vista, I prefer it to XP for one main reason:
Sound control on single applications. I can mute IE or turn down it's volume without having to mute my music. ****ing brilliant.

My pc's wouldn't cope with vista so xp for me. I'm looking into buying a new pc when win7 is out and sorted.

To me there is no XP vs Vista. It all depends on who, what, and where it's going to be use. For a typical home user, Vista is way to go. For businesses, XP is the best way to go hands downs. For power user (Like Me) I perffer XP. Don't get wrong Vista is a good operating systemm but like serverguy said, I'll just skip Vista and go straight to Windows 7.
