I started getting the nag for windows defender saying there has been no scan in three days and it's set for 7.00pm daily. So I went in to services to task scheduler it was set to automatic but, said start in the top left corner of screen. I clicked on start but it fails to start? with an error saying, could not start the task service scheduler error 1717: The interface is unknown. anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks very much for any assistance!

Problem solved, Event Log was disabled.
|
