Default XP Home edition

My Computer had a virus on the machine and wiped everything off, so my friend tried to put back on windows xp home edition, but he put on the professional one. It couldn't fully install as the code we had wouldn't work.

I contacted the people who said we need the windows xp home edition recovery disk, will this work.

Thanks

Claire

You need an XP Home CD, try to borrow one from anyone. Use your license key when you install, and that will do it.

You may be able to buy a CD from eBay.
