HELP PLEASE
My Sons PC bought second hand had a illegall copy of XP Proffesional can i install a xp home upgrade on the top or will i need a full copy of home Many Thanks |

You will need to start afresh, with a clean formatted drive, as Windows will not allow you to upgrade from XP Pro to XP Home.

Also, if it's an XP Home Upgrade Disk that you have, you will need a qalifying OS installed such as W98 or W2K, otherwise you will not be able to install it (not legally anyway). My System: Home Build
