after putting up with my computer with a load of viruses, hardware not working, problems crashes im reinstalling my computer with "XP PRO SP2" my hard drive is SATA so i need the floppy disk that came with the mobo i press "F6" on the install then i put in the floppy it makes the reading sound but then says something along the lines of "please insert a floppy disk into drive A" someone please help.

mmm ive got another FDD should i try that? also i have tried 5 floppy disks and only one of them makes the irritating sound of FDD's.

Floppy disks & drives are really unreliable.

Like i said replace either until they work.
