I'm trying to repair an install of Windows XP and when I boot w/ the Window's CD, I get no option for repair, it goes immediately to the partitioning screen.

Any tips on how to repair the install???

Is the CD fully legal and original Microsoft made?

This is normally because the CD you are using does not match your install.

ie: you have SP2 but the CD is just the standard XP without SP2 integrated.

i have this problem when making my own windows cd with N-lite so would also be interested in this question asked

N-Lite would cause the problem.
