Default XP pro RECOVERY DISK-making?

i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place on this forum

i was in the middle of making a recovery disk and as most of you know when making one you have to copy files to your harddrive then to a floppy or cd ( i didn't think you could put that much data on a floppyam almost sure of it hehe ) Anyway, halfway through copying my files a message came up saying not enough space on harddrive... didn't tell me how much space i would need 3hours i waited..

My Question is can i make a complete recovery disk another way? Without getting another harddrive as i want to burn it to cd aswell if i can could you please post step by step as i've just switched back from vista thanks.

Pete.

Please don't post in text speak.

It's extremely annoying and detracts from what you're trying to get across. Problems such as the one you're having can come down to the smallest detail. Typing in the manner you're typing can make that detail harder to see.

It's another of your post's that I've edited. I'm not here to edit post's into words and sentences people can read.

You will find some people won't even respond to questions typed in text-speak. This means, potentially, you're losing out on some advice.

So, breath and take your time when typing.

Thanks.
