| Hi all, Im trying desperatley to help my friend fix his computer (packard bell, running winXP home) The biggest problem is that none of the program shortcuts on the desktop are working, and niether are any on the program menus. The only program that works from the start menu is Office Outlook. Recycle Bin, My computer and folders all open fine, but most of the contents wont. When you double click on one your prompted to "find program via web." Personally, I'd have thought the usual application to open links & programs isnt working, but the fact that some (ie, Outlook) sorta busts this idea. Does anyone know what to suggest? ill be around here a while to answer any questions and any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Charlie |
