when i use ccleaner should i use the registry tool aswell

You can. I use it often. It is the safest reg. cleaner there is.

You may have to run it a couple of times if you have not cleaned the registry lately.

Same with the regular cleaner. Run it a few times to be sure.

right ive done the cleaner and im doing the reg but thats taking ages lol,anything else? reg is done now; no issues

seams fine,i had that virus alert popup earlier on this evening about the system volume but you said that was not a virus right

That is the system restore files. You can turn off and then on system restore to get rid of it.

Probably a good idea to do so. Unless Counterspy removed the file. Which is possible.
