How can I get Avast to automatically check incoming emails, and check outgoing emails adding a signature saying it was checked at whatever time and it's safe and clear of any virus?
This is using either Outlook '07 or WLM '09, preferably both. Thanks.

I'm not sure that you can. Although it does have an email scanner built into it.
Right click the Avast icon in the System Tray and choose On-Access Protection Control. You can adjust some of the settings in there. |

Hmm ok.. I'd had a fiddle anyway, I guess maybe you can't.
I know you can with some, I just don't really want to change. Ok no worries, thanks anyway

I'm not sure if the paid version has those options or not. But you still have the same protection with the free or paid version.
