Hello!

I noticed that most of you support Avast antivirus, but a friend of mine told me that it doesn't pick up viruses.
Is NOD32 better?

Because I install these programs on every PC I use:
Comodo Firewall, WinPatrol, Registry Mechanic, Ad-Aware, CleanUp.

An I think an antivirus is needed.

Thanks!

NOD32 is probably a little better, but it ain't free
Although I prefer Avira anti virus which is free and available for download in the download section

Avast is one AV i have used that removes everything.

I have tried many that pickup viruses OK but struggle when it comes to removing them.

I havent tried NOD32 though.

I have mostly seen that if you feel more comfortable with a paid version of AV then NOD32 is the best. If you have no problem with free versions then Avast is best.
I think a big factor is the resources they use.
NOD32 11.5
Avast 14.5

Sorry I got ahead of myself. Those are download sizes not resource usage. I have resource stats somewhere and will see if I can find them.
