I recently switched from Comodo to PC Tools Firewall Plus Free. I am liking it much better.

Comodo tended to "forget" what I had allowed now and then. I urge anyone who is thinking of a change to check out the PC Tools firewall. It is in our Downloads section.

The Windows firewall does a good job for incoming threats, but does not stop ANY outgoing communications. So if something malicious does get past it, there is nothing stopping it from sending any/all of your information back out to whomever is seeking it.
