Hello all,

I am running windows xp sp2 and can only connect to the internet in safe mode. I went through the steps to repair winsock but that has gotten me nowhere. Help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have attached my hijack this log below:

While I am looking at the log, what all programs have you run to remove malware?

Also what malware was found?

I have windows defender but it is not finding anything.

Oh, I'm sorry, and I used to have Symantec but never renewed with them.

Have you tried turning off the firewall or even the antivirus and trying to connect?

Did this just happen out of the blue?

You can try this (see warning) XP TCP/IP Repair.exe
