I'm trying to clean up my fiance's computer and I noticed that it's running Network Associates - Common Framework processes such as Frameworkservices.exe, UpdaterUI.exe, and naprdmgr.exe. However, he does not McAfee installed. He uses Norton antivirus and firewall instead. Do I need to leave the Common Framework there? And if not, how do I unistall it?

Lets try to stop the services from running first.

Go to Start > Run > type services.msc and click OK

Locate the services and right click them and select Stop.

Now try to run the tool and see if it works. If not we can remove them manually.
