Default Comodo Firewall Pro strength.

Hi,
I recently installed Comodo Firewall Pro, and it's asking to allow or disallow many programs. I am patient with that, because I know it needs to learn new rules for each program. But I notice some of the messages ask if you should allow the program to access the monitor or the keyboard. Isn't that a bit over protective? Is there a way to stop it asking if a program can use the monitor or the keyboard? It does get annoying, because after that, it opens a new one where to allow the program to connect to internet, and other stuff etc. It just keeps on giving lots of messages, more than necessary, in my opinion. I know I can disable it and just let it go, but I would be less protected. Is this just the way Comodo is, or can it be configured?
Thanks.

There ia a setting called learning mode or something similar. Try using that.

Just curious, is it perhaps asking if you want to allow programmes to read your screen or capture your keystrokes?

It says for Training Mode 'Application traffic initiated by any program are learnt.' Doesn't that mean it allows everything?

No, I'm pretty sure it said Blah blah blah program is about to access the screen directly. And it did. It was Cod4.

It allows known safe processes. If there is anything questionable/suspicious it will alert you to that.

New 'Training Mode' enables the firewall and host intrusion prevention systems to automatically create 'allow' rules for new components of applications you have decided to trust. In short - you won't receive pointless alerts for those programs you trust - the firewall will learn how they work and only warn you when it detects truly suspicious behavior.

I will let Glaswegian answer the second question. I'm pretty sure he knows firewall behavior better than I do.

I used Comodo for a while. I hate firewalls that constantly bug you with allow/deny messages and the Comodo learning mode I thought to be very impressive and user friendly.

Hopefully Glaswegian will have some more input on the other message about access the screen directly. He is very good with security related issues.

Yea, firewalls which come up with a lot of messages can be very annoying, because they pop up at everything.

Well I suck at Cod4 so you'll have no trouble killing me. I think I'm the rank just before second lieutenant, but I'm not sure
