Hey thanks for the response. When I try to delete zlclient.exe is says "Cannot delete zlclient.exe: access is denied" "Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use".

Go to our Downloads Section and choose a new one. I have been using the PC Tools Free Firewall and have had no problems with it.
Download the new one, but don't install it. Then uninstall the Zone Alarm in add/remove programs. Next install the new one before going online. |

I don't think that would work, but I am not sure. I have a bigger problem now. I turn my computer on and it says "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system. WTF....?

Have you been doing anything in the registry? That is indicating you have a corrupt registry.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 Or try to go to a restore point before the \windows\system32\config\system happened. Do you have your XP CD to try the Recovery Console? http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;314058 You can also try a repair install. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...ps/doug92.mspx |
